  1. Ethan Manley Would not teally be done in the rain. Usually done when a unit goes to chow and they dont want weapons in the mess hall. Two people are designated to guard and two to replace them. The replacements eat first. So the original guards can also get chow. Also can be used in the field during a detail. Such as unloading trucks. Where having a rifle would be in the way or dangerous.
