@lordkronos8947 Not that I know of but people who I know that were snipers did that to reduce their firing signatures. I edited this reply. Since MGs typically fire tracer ammo and tracers work both ways. The point of doing this might be moot. Although reducing the dust from extended firing might gain you an advantage in aiming.
