  2.  @lairdcummings9092  it has and probably will change the dynamics of manufacturing, supply chains and logistics. When it is possible to buy only raw material for many common household products and possibly recycle them on site. In a WIRED magazine article they called the invention of the inkjet printer( fore runner of 3D printing) one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century. We are on the leading edge of a technolgical revolution. It is having starts, stops and growing pains but is quickly getting out of it's infancy. To me the process is very interesting and I am looking forward to it becoming more mainstream for home use and less hobbyist oriented.
