  1. I'm curious how China is affected by this in the long term. China's banking system functions basically by printing massive quantities of money. If sanctions on China cut it off from the international banking system, China would obviously be hosed, but how much will the mere possibility of a cutoff hurt China?

  2.  @wisenber  The Chinese have, on occasion, tried to open the Yuan up and make it exchangeable for other currencies. Every time they do, everybody in China converts their Yuan to dollars and moves them offshore. It rarely lasts more than a week at a time. The Yuan is trash.
