"Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea was the first time since the Second World War the one sovereign nation has forcibly taken territory from another in Europe. Since then, Russia has fomented the conflict in Eastern Ukraine, repeatedly violated the national airspace of several European countries, and mounted a sustained campaign of cyber espionage and disruption. This has included meddling in elections and hacking the Danish Ministry of Defence and the German Bundestag, among many others. It is seeking to weaponize information. Deploying its state-run media organisations to plant fake stories and photoshopped images in an attempt to sow discord in the West and undermine our institutions. Russia's actions which threaten the international order on which we all depend. The West and other democracies must take necessary actions to counter Russian activity." -Teresa May

All authoritarian regimes being supportive by Kremlin. Libya, Syria, Belarus, and now Kazakhstan's authoritarian regime was just saved by Putin's army. Under "successive" authoritarian regime, Russia has been on the wrong side of humanity since the late 19th century. The days of Peter the Great are long gone. The Russian ruling oligarchy today is obsessed with lust for power and delusion of greatness. Those oligarchs siphon wealth off Russia to fulfil their own pockets at the expense of ordinary Russian people. Russian people being run by those authoritarian cronies in the Kremlin. A few examples of recent Russian atrocities including: Shooting down of MH17 over eastern Ukraine (by Russian backed surrogates); state-sponsored doping at the Sochi Olympics; annexation of eastern Ukraine; annexation of Crimea; the war in Chechnya; killing and the poisoning of opponents; support the brutal Assad regime etc. The Russian cyber squad has been spreading disinformation and launching cyberattacks to undermine western democracies. To create an alternative reality and to spread confusion is the main aim of the Russian state today. We are all now witnessing the actions of an EVIL REGIME.

Any russian bot here? 😛 Putin's authoritarian regime becoming pain in the a** really. Russia is the evilest country the humanity has ever faced. Russians have inflicted more wars than all world nations combined. In 1905 war with Japan, in 1939 war with Finland. In 1988 Moscow opposed Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh territory. Both wars in Chechnya were inflicted by Russians. In 2008 conflict with Georgia over South Ossetia. By now Russians' "peacekeeping" in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. Now Russian troops fighting in Syria. Russians been fighting with its neighbours since middle ages.

@ngonzales3781 Russian government rather help its own people. 20+ million people in Russia lives in poverty. Russia's first priority should be to modernize itself rather than to engage in a futile effort to regain its status as a global power. Given the country's size and diversity, a decentralized political system and free-market economics would be most likely to unleash the creative potential of the Russian people and Russia's vast natural resources. A loosely confederated Russia—composed of a European Russia, a Siberian Republic, and the Far Eastern Republic—would also find it easier to cultivate closer economic relations with its neighbours. Each of the confederated entities would be able to tap its local creative potential, stifled for centuries by Moscow's heavy bureaucratic hand.
