  2. He is SAYING, BY IMPLICATION, that being on a ventilator means 100 per cent DIE. So he is writing off those on ventilators, and by further impllication saying, "There's no point in distributing ventilators because those people are going to die ANYWAY."

  5. He isn't ignorant of the facts. What he is doing is acting within his area of expertise: as a career criminal. He knows what he's doing; he doesn't mind being thought "ignorant," because that grants him an "innocence" he doesn't deserve. It is letting him off the hook, just as calling him "malignant narcisist," even if true, gives him an excuse.
