How long did the Laundrie lawyer know that Brian is "missing".
67
So Alex's lawyer is investigating the murders of Alex's wife and son. And when he has that all stitched together, he'll provide the information to law enforcement. Who will be set up to take the fall as distraction?
59
He's nowhere in Florida, because that's where everyone is looking. And he is neither an "outdoorsman" nor "survivalist"; he is a city-guy "hiker". The attribution to him of sophistications he does not have is baseless.
55
IF he attends he can be arrested.
30
A memorial/wake is not a funeral. The funeral is when the deceased is buried.
27
"A lot of people" are over the line into that which is none of their business.
27
He didn't pay to be killed. He paid to be shot for sympathy.
27
Yeah: Will Smith is about 'protecting my people" -- except for Chris Rock. And he put the responsibility for his behavior on "God".
26
The first thing the police did after the incident was to praise themselves. Now we learn that they were "afraid of being shot". That's part of the job description.
26
Imagine morons, amped up on bullshit, disturbing entire neighborhoods because they couldn't care less about others' rights.
14
After Trump told them he didn't have any more documents the search found another 26 boxes.
14
How many times must those who know what they're talking about answer this question before the know-it-all morons cease ignoring the answer?
14
The murdred couple were shot to death. And they were NOT "at the exact same location". They were reported as within a "fifteen mile radius" of each other. It is most likely, considering their views, that Gabby and Brian would not have a gun or guns.
14
@Joy_W4760 He isn't giving out information on the case. He is explaining the LAW.
13
"We" have no idea what evidence there is and isn't. Stick to the few known facts, and drop all the bullshit second-guessing when the ANSWERS to your dumb-assed questions have been REPEATEDLY PROVIDED.
13
Let's see the evidence.
12
$5,000 dollar bail!? For all those charges!?
12
The FBI already has whatever "Dog" claims to have found. There is no way that Laundrie is in Florida.
11
It is considered Ukranian territory -- by the West and Ukraine. But Russia insists -- as did Hitler and Stalin -- that there is no such thing as "Ukraine".
11
He isn't "stumping" anyone. But the United States is a "system of laws, and not of men". We don't do vigilante "justice" based on animus, rumor, speculations, and out-and-out bullshit. "Justice and the rule of law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams.
11
Shouldn't he be, you know, found guilty first? Or do we lock people up in the US based exclusively on guesses, presumptions, and speculations?
11
I'm waiting for DeSantis to thank and priase the medical personnel who are dealing with his pro-COVID policies.
10
We "know" he's a fugitive. We don't know more than that.
10
But let's "cancel" the criticism of Clarence Thomas. And let's look at Thomas's wife participating in the illegal insurrection.
9
He's made a good living with this career.
9
@timmiller6868 Russia illegally invaded Ukraine. So you defend Putin's mass murder. Look up the word "morals" in the dictionary.
8
@Jonathan Banner There are times the United States gets it right. WW II was one of them. This is one of them.
8
Why did Cruz not demand that TRUMP release the warrant?
8
You have obviously never attended an institution of higher learning -- where worthwhile professors, ESPECIALLY in law school -- INVITE debate and argument, including of their own views and positions. Because the central task of education is the teaching of CRITICAL THINKING -- which does NOT mean ATTACKING and "winning". It means able to critique EVEN ONE'S OWN "thinking". Which, of course, also presumes that students in colleges and universities have by then learned what "debate" is, and is not, and when and where it is appropriate.
8
@rayfoster6980 None of your cited degrees are relevant to the issue of gender, which is in the area PSYCHOLOGY. "sex" = anatomy. "gender = psychosexual identify. That is why there are, as example, heterosexuals and homosexuals. It is in the nature of things. See _Mothering_, by Nancy Chodorow. Nor does one learn "Americanism" from science; one learns the difference between that and anti-Americanism/criminality from LAW, which is ALSO OUTSIDE your cited degrees. Surveys across disciplines find that among the most "conservative" are ENGINEERS. Were there any better engineers (in "social engineering") than the "Conservatives" running WW II Germany?
8
Don, Jr. wanted a trophy. He couldn't care less how much cheating was necessary to get it.
8
"God" and "the Devil" have nothing to do with it.
8
Nope: not if it jeopardizes the ongoing investigation. Unless, of course, you are more interested in assisting Trump's criminal enterprise than in enforcing the rule of law against a person -- Trump -- who is not above the law.
8
The Presidential Records Act was relevant ALL ALONG. Since the retrieval of the 15 boxes there has been continuing investigation.
8
This was predictable -- but don't tell that to "Libertarians" who oppose all regulation/law.
8
How many times is this question going to be asked? We don't yet know cause of death, let alone a charge against the person considered the murderer. She isn't lying.
8
"We" need to stop the assholes who are so "concerned" with rule of law to CEASE violating others' rights. The mob with the bullhorns are totally ignoring the FACT that they are disturbing the entire neighborhood. Does that respect the RIGHT of the neighbors to peace and quiet?
8
They aren't "prodding" questions. They are ACCUSATORY. These are the same people who are disturbing the neighborhood because they don't care about others' rights.
8
True: one can't spend $5 million on an addiction.
8
There are more than 200 women, missing and murdered, in Wyoming alone, but "Dog" is in Florida, while Laundrie is nowhere in Florida.
7
IF he committed the ALLEGED crime.
7
The photo is not of Brian Laundrie: compare the ear with photo of Brian's profile.
7
Brian Laundrie was not a survivalist. He was a city-guy "hiker" who typically "camped" in well-kept civilized camping areas.
7
One can charge more than one defendant at a time. But the politicians can claim they were representing the interests of their constituents -- the gun industry and NRA.
7
The media is in it for the ratings, which equals PROFITS. Not different than "Facebook" or most corporations: profits before people.
7
"Partisan pandering" is when Dan Abrams characterizes other media -- during "news" reports, but without NAMING any -- as "left-leaning" FACTUAL JURNALISM is to be ABOVE the POLITICS of politically labeling other media, unnamed, as "biased," because the political labeling is itself BIAS.
7
The media are the ringmaster.
7
As a fugitive under Federal law, he is subject to arrest everywhere within Federal jurisdiction, which includes all states and territories. And note that the indictment charged him with using the debit card in "WYOMING AND ELSEWHERE". That includes at least Wyoming, Florida, and any states between the two.
7
The Federal indictment is not "in connection" with the murder. It may prove to be, but the indictment is not for murder.
7
The issue is more complicated than that. The knives were taken in 2019, before he was 21 -- and the father went in and retrieved the knives and gave them back to him. And it appears he signed for his son to get the gun permit in 2019, when the mass murder was possible not yet 21. There is also a tweet from his father supporting the Second Amendment -- another law-illiterate gun-nut.
