One should not respect LIARS for telling LIES.

And LIE in effort to "win" the argument.

@kennadowning Even professional bicyclists take falls now and then.

@ms.fravell7606 None of which has anything relevant to do with US civic and political life.
2
O'Reilly still on the wrong side of fact and truth.
1
So you have no problem with LIES being presented as "factual" NEWS?
1
@AljIsHere128 It isn't centrist. It puts on a cosmetic veneer, but its content is "conservative" spin. That's why blind "conservatives" view it as "unbiased": it conforms to their blindness. No credible NEWS program would give O'Reilly a platform to spew his LIES against the OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE against Trump. It's simply that O'Reilly and his ilk, and like media, believe that crime is acceptable so long as they gain -- primarily in the wallet -- from it. They are destructive of the rule of law -- of the fact-based reason on which rule of law is built.
1
@hadtocheathimtobeathim6549 But you're okay with Cuomo giving constant LIAR O'Reilly a platform to deny the OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE against Trump? Trump is a third-generation New York con-man and career criminal. Anyone with their head on straight saw that when he first announced his campaign for president. And saw that throughout his four years of trashing the Constitution and the country. The Founders were "woke" -- you hate the Founders, the facts, the truth -- for what? For a LIE.
1
@hadtocheathimtobeathim6549 Trump WILL be indicted. The indictment will be proven in court beyond any reasonable doubt. And Trump will be convicted. The only question at the moment is: How many indictments and for how many specific crimes?
1
@hadtocheathimtobeathim6549 In other words, you reject the rule of law, which is exactly what criminals do. That has been the view of three generations of Trumps, including Donald Trump, third-generation New York con-man career criminal and his criminal enterprise. Those who reject the rule of law are criminals. Only criminals defend criminals.
1
@shAnn0n1 If they leaned Left they would have right-winger Abrams, and wouldn't give a platform to O'Reilly.
1
@jmil3947 So you're okay with "civil" discussion as means to spew disinformation -- LIE -- against facts and law. You don't care if what you believe is true or false; that's why you don't have any friends.
1
@scottmiller7001 O'Reilly has ALWAYS been a LIAR, and he cost FOX "news" MULTIPLE MILLIONS in hush money to women he sexually harassed and worse. President Biden has achieved more in two years than Trump did in four, an example being the infrastructure bill: Trump, the "developer"/"builder" TALKED for FOUR YEARS about passing an infrastructure bill but NEVER DID. He TALKED for FOUR YEARS about "building THE wall" but NEVER DID. Instead of attacking Biden because you are JEALOUS LEARN to KNOW when you are being LIED TO TO YOUR FACE. GROW UP and SMARTEN UP: the INTELLIGENT REJECT lies.
1
@scottmiller7001 About the United States based on the direction of Australian fascist Rupert Murdoch.
1
@scottmiller7001 You provide no EVIDENCE for that baseless assertion. But that "argument" is typical of two-year-old toddlers: "EVERYONE does it." But the MORAL -- which HYPOCRITE O'Reilly pretended to be -- recognize that if it's WRONG for OTHERS then it is ALSO WRONG for oneself. Let's be real about the obvious: an alleged NEWS organization paying HUSH MONEY to victimized employees so the FACTS about VIOLATIONS OF LAW by its predatory employees won't be reported in the NEWS.
1
The "old days" when STUPID people believed LIES were "legitimate opinion". How did FOX and its spawn -- O'Reilly an example -- persuade stupid people to shove their heads up their own asses and believe that that meant they were finally seeing the light?
1
@scottmiller7001 Nope: they became #1 on CABLE because they target a demographic of uneducated and racist GULLIBLES. They were sued for LYING but won on the technicality that they ARE NOT a "news" outlet; they are ENTERTAINMENT. Who was Roger Ailes before he founded FOX? He was RACIST Reagan's communications director.
1
@scottmiller7001 It is a MINORITY that can't tell the difference between fact and fiction. You are one of that minority. Your "world view" is uneducated; it is NOT how the world views reality. That is the REALITY because EXTREMISTS are ALWAYS a minority; and we know who the extremists are because they bash the MAINSTREAM, which is MODERATE. NEWS is FACT -- not "I don't like the FACTS they report so I'll find something that tells me what I want to hear." Trump is a third-generation con-man and career criminal -- that's why he lost election in his home state of New York: they know what he is. That you IGNORE his crimes reveals your 'character": only criminals defend criminality.
1
@scottmiller7001 No, jackass bullshitter: it was not news media that sue FOX for LYING about being "fair and balanced". You're exactly what FOX produces: liars who make shit up because you have NO regard for facts and truth. One more instance of LYING and I BLOCK your anti-American destructive ass.
1
@scottmiller7001 Yes: there is a TAPE RECORDING of Reagan, as California governor, talking to President Nixon, in which Reagan called Black people "monkeys," and Nixon laughed. FOX won't tell you that. i just did. "Google" will doubtless find that TAPE-RECORDING.
1
@Justin.Martyr And the destructive anti-American FOX "news" angertainment O'Reilly helped build is facing depositions and discovery in the 1+ billion dollar defamation lawsuits. Let's hope they and their fascist ilk are driven out of business. Will O'Reilly READ the January 6th Committee report -- or will he LIE against it? It's amazing that Southern racists, who typically hate "Yankees," fell for a third generation New York con-man and career criminal. But we know how that works: those who reject the rule of law fall for "get-rich-quick snake-oil criminals and hand over their cash. It's easier to convince a fool than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.
1
How does one have a "great interview" with a person -- O'Reilly -- who is a demagogue and liar pushing LIES against the overwhelming evidence? It is certain that if FOX hadn't got tired of paying out millions in hush money in his behalf O'Reilly would still be their most celebrated anti-American.
1
@Gzoratto As if we need continuing subjection to falsehood and disinformation. That's "conservative" "news": search for "truth" by lying against it. In contrast, facts are neutral -- neither "conservative" nor "liberal". But those who bash "liberal" media because they don't like the facts actually assert that "conservative" media ISN'T biased because it lies against the facts. And that's wat this sort of illiberal "news" media does: pander to the stupid by feeding them the lies they rave. But it is a disservice to media and to society. It is based in a rejection not only of facts and evidence but of reason itself. Such deserves no praise -- and no audience.
1
The idea that the Trump investigations are "BS" is not a "side" of the story -- it is a LIE.
1
@michaelstorm2165 EXCEPT that facts and evidence matter. Fact-free "opinion" -- O'Reilly -- that is REFUTED by the facts is BULLSHIT. Do the young have sufficient time to waste on attacks on facts and truth?
1
@annabellagardner3190 O'Reilly is doing in this exactly as FOX "news" has always operated: reduce a fact to "opinion," elevate a falsehood to "opinion," then leave it to the viewer to decide which of the two "opinions" is the truth. Obviously not all "opinions" are equal -- some are informed, some are not. And as an 'opinion" has a chance of being true, a falsehood, because false, cannot be true, therefore cannot be an "opinion".
1
Giving a platform to O'Reilly is about as biased as it gets.
1
Only "conservative" media would give a platform to a washed-up fraud such as O'Reilly. Broadcasting lies while masquerading as presenting "news".
1
@frankdunne2401 Same here, even though the fence post has a fixed position at least it isn't a demagogue.
