  5. Reagan initiated the anti-gov't sedition. In contrast, per the Constitution, "We the people" are the gov't -- and that is the Reaganite enemy.

  6.  @jojoleaf2112  He also "made his bones" being anti-AMERICAN gov't, thus initiated the sedition that has taken over the party -- or perhaps you didn't understand his "the gov't is the problem" anti-Americanism: Per the Constitution, "We the people" are the gov't. And gov't is, by definition, RULE OF LAW. Reagan invoked FDR in order to appeal to Democrats; meanwhile, behind the scenes, he was deconstructing civil rights enforcement. His attack was essentially on the "administrative state". And with their overturning of Chevron -- connect the dots -- his anti-gov't stance has succeeded: regulation of complex matters is taken out of the hands of experts and put into the hands of judges who are not competent to judge such issues. We saw an earlier example of that with the Court's banning of "partial-birth abortion," which has never existed; but the goal mattered, not that they were basing it on a lie. Late-term abortion was a thing -- dealing with a fetus that is DEAD. But that two is banned, and one of the very few doctors who still performed the procedure before it was banned was murdered as he entered his church. Thanks Reagan for that. And for his late -- befuddled -- response to AIDs.

  8.  @karenkalweit6018  I was politically aware long before Reagan. And for Nixon. And was immersed in the "Watergate" hearings and outcomes. Reagan INITIATED the anti-gov't SEDITION. And per the Constitution "We the people" are the gov't. And that's what we've seen from the Republican Party OF, BY, and FOR WEALTH AND POWER FOR MANY DECADES. Keep learning about who in the Nixon administration were also in the Reagan administration, and what THEY were about -- including Ailes, Stone, and Rumsfeld. And it was G. DUI Bushit who nominated Roberts and Alito to the Federal Court -- in behalf of the radically extremist right-wing "Federalist Society". The Justices Trump also "chose" for the Supreme are ALSO ALL "Federalist Society". They REJECT democracy, and the rule of law itself, as they reveal in the "immunity" decision, which is entirely un- and anti-Constitutional. And all of that was set-up by Reagan, and further facilitated by Bushit/Cheney, and McCain by "elevating" the incompetent lowlife Palin. And it Reaganite Steve Schmidt admits that HE was responsible for getting Gorsuch and Alito and Palin through to where they got and are. But suddenly he is against the very thing he helped bring to fruition. What is it about Republicans that consequences is too big a word for their comprehension?
