The precedent for settling "tied" elections was established during the Jefferson election: CONGRESS determines the winner, and in that instance it went through 30-plus votes. Establishing a commission to resolve the issue is classic avoidance of responsibility. Similar happened in 2000: it should properly have gone to Congress for resolution, as the Electoral Count Act establishes -- but instead the UNELECTED Supreme Court -- initiated by Scalia -- unconstitutionally usurped that exclusive authority of Congress; and voting twice in the same election, which is illegal, the Court chose G. DUI Bushit. We DO NOT Constitutionally put the outcome of elections in the hands of the UNELECTED, so the voters can't respond to vote out the ELECTED Congress for choosing the loser of the election.

The media has the OBLIGATION to call out lies, because they exist to pursue the TRUTH.
1
The media, as a check on politicians and gov't, have the OBLIGATION to "facilitate" THE TRUTH; and that includes directly exposing blatant lies.

Dana Bash hasn't anything to say about fact-checking because she doesn't do it. CNN's owner is pro-Trump. At the same time, CNN has others who do challenge the lying and bullshit. Bash failed in her responsibility TO THE VIEWERS. The media is intended to check the politicians and gov't, NOT to treat abuses as somehow acceptable.

When will Bash be honest with herself about the fact that she FAILED.

The media has the RESPONSIBILITY to "put the thumb on the scale" to SERVE THE ELECTORATE -- NOT let lies go by, which puts the thumb on the scale for the liar.
