  2. I'm experiencing that locally: the Catholics have no problem with the hypocrisy, the corruption, so long as they get their way. And that's all it's about for them: getting their way. And if corruption is necessary to get what they want, they are for the corruption. Scalia "judicial philosophy" was not only beyond outside the mainstream, it is antithetical to reason and standard jurisprudence. Scalia was excoriated, across the political spectrum, for his claim that the legislative history of the Second Amendment -- the debates of the Congress that WROTE it -- was irrelevant, in order to reach his manufactured conclusion: that it protects and individual right. Even though those words do not appear in the Amendment.
