  4. There NO absolute rights -- and Harvard law school graduate Ted "Cancun" Cruz knows it. But he's a REPUBLICAN so extreme irresponsibility is his politics. Let's admit the obvious: the REPUBLICAN war against public education is ARMED TO THE TEETH.

  5.  @damondelgado4603  It's been politicized since "Heller" and establishing as "law" that the Second Amendment protects an individual right. That's why Scalia argued that the legislative history -- the DEBATES OF THE WRINIG of the Amendment -- was irrelevant. When one READS the Debates one learns that the PURPOSE of the Second Amendment was to establish a NATIONAL DEFENSE relying on the well-regulated Militia. The ONLY "individual right" debates was this -- "but no person [INDIVIDUAL] religiously scrupulous of [AGAINST] bearing arms [IN WELL-REGULATED MILITIA] shall be compelled [INVOLUNTARY] to render military service [IN WELL-REGULATED MILITIA]". That was OBVIOUSLY voted down BEFORE the Amendment was ratified.
