  2. Not new. We have the TAPE of Reagan talking to Nixon and calling African-Americans "monkeys," and laughing about it. As president, Reagan was opposed to gun control. But as California governor, when the Black Panthers armed themselves, he signed a gun control law. The Republican Party has LONG been the Party of Racism. Hate.
