Reagan needed the support of women voters in order to get elected. Many women were opposed to his being opposed to the ERA and abortion. So he promised DURING HIS CAMPAIGN to appoint a woman to the Supreme Court.

@williamhutton2126 I'm always amused when racists call themselves out. How about focusing on the considerable merits of the candidates -- instead of on the race and sex, which is your constant focus?

@williamhutton2126 Yes: you are a hypocrite. Still can't get yourself to focus on the merits of the candidates because so obsessed with sex and race. I'd recommend that you look in a mirror, but the mirror is likely to spit in your face.
