I'm not embarrassed because I don't identify with that which embarrasses. Our democracy is founded on the rule of law. The rule of law is central.

"We the people" deserve a full hearing of all the details, from all relevant parties, even if that takes weeks or even months. And I want AP and Reuters among the media doing the reporting.

@mrs.taylor9666 It can't be proven that there's a "God". And Jesus is said to have said that one keep one's praying private. Many of us are nauseated by the egocentric religiosity of seeking attention by making public how "religious" one is. I have a sister who is "religious" when she "needs" to justify doing something she knows is wrong. Drop all the pretense. Persons are determined to be of good will not by their word but by their works.

@mrs.taylor9666 "The Bible is a fascinating book of wisdom. You might want to read it." The "Bible" is a grab-bag mishmash of self-serving supremacist Hebrew tribal-centric ideology. It endorses slavery when the Hebrew owns slaves, and opposes slavery when Hebrews are the slaves. Buddhism is older than the "Bible" -- you might want to read it and find in it what one does not find in the "Old Testament": actual individual responsibility and compassion, and no preaching others MUST behave while overlooking one's own transgressions. One doesn't need the "Christian" baggage to find the exact same values in neutral ethical philosophy that doesn't engage in the vicious persecution of those don't have the "right" "religion".
