Eastman knew it was illegal before anyone else told him that; his own emails reveal that. And that is why he is in court attempting to keep his 10's of thousands of additional emails suppressed. The judges, as arbiter, has those emails, but the House Committe must make compelling arguments to get them -- Eastman has the right to defend against that happening.

@timothywalsh1001 In addition, the attorney-client privilege belongs to the client, not to the lawyer. Eastman was the lawyer, and Trump hasn't asserted the privilege.
