You haven't been watching MSNBC. But let's be fully honest: you don't watch mainstream media, so don't actually know what they do and don't report.

I'm 76 and this has always been the pattern: Republicans get elected and wreck the economy. Democrats get elected and clean up the mess. Republicans get elected and wreck the economy. Etc., ad nauseum.

@Chichi-ld1eo Not on MSNBC. Those who SMEAR the mainstream media as "lamestream" DON'T ACCESS MAINSTREAM MEDIA, so they DON'T KNOW whether their criticisms are true or false. So they -- and you -- are no different than Trump and his LIE about "fake news".

@user-highbaritone ETHICS. the LEGITIMATE NEWS MEDIA have a CODE OF ETHICS. They report facts WITHOUT PERSONAL ATTACKS, or by means that can be construed as being PERSONAL ATTACK. "Opinion" media tends fo talk all sorts of stuff that ISN'T FACT. Knowing what one is dealing with as media is called MEDIA LITERACY. Until FOX news there was a STRICT separation of NEWS -- reporting the FACTS -- and EDITORIAL/OPINION. Most of what you call "news" is OPINION ABOUT facts and "facts". The problem with "opinion" is that it isn't always TRUE. FACTS are TRUE. Most of the young generations are looking for OPINION that AGREES with them; they are looking for SENSATION. They are looking for "INFOTAINMENT". Everything is "argument" and "attack" and "winning" -- "So-and-so DESTROYED so-and-so". That is childish schoolyard NOISE.

The election is November 5, 2024. The inauguration is on January 21, 2025. Between those two dates are lawsuits enforcing state elections laws against those who refuse to do their jobs inkeeping with the law.
