  3.  @Elkator955  "A system of Laws, and not of men." -- John Adams. Gov't is by definition rule of law. The Republicans are engaged in an all out attack on the rule of law itself. Those constituents are voting against their own intersts.

We saw it with Hillary Clinton: 30 years of fake "scandals" urgently invented by Republicans that urgently needed "investigation" -- by Republicans -- only to discover, after spending double-figure millions, the obvious: no evidence for the fake "scandals". The ultimate was the "Lock Her Up!" phase -- until Trump, with the help of "investigations," "emails," Russia, and James Comey, won, at which point all that Smear Politics ended.
