If he took the stand and under and admitted his guilt it would be substantive. The alternative would be perjury. Most likely he will attack the rule of law and all involved in violation of the standing gag order.

@kewakl8891 That is why he consistently LOSES in courts, where LAW is the issue -- he, like the Republican Party, is all politics all the time, in effort to overcome, circumvent, climb over, and undermine -- overawe -- the rule of law: In total disregard of these fundamentals: "A system of Laws, and not of men." -- John Adams. "Justice and the Rule of Law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams.

They'll try to tie his January 6th crimes to executive privilege because he was president at the time, despite the crime-fraud exception. Even if on appeal the Supreme Court falsely claims all that was "official act," the actual facts will be out for all to see.

@stephenrowe8352 Those in denial tend to believe they would be exempt from the oppressions of a dictatorship. The gun-nuts have long claimed the "need" for guns to oppose 'tyranny," often asserting that the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto were exterminated because dictator Hitler "came for their guns". And yet those who back Trump's overt promise to be a DICTATOR won't "come for their guns". They "think" short term: oh the glorious bloodbath of "legally" exterminating all their perceived enemies. They CHEER the overturning of the bump stock ban.

The "immunity" decision is unconstitutional so can be ignored.

The Founders charged and prosecuted insurrection as TREASON.

Trump isn't president. He is, though, an adjudicated rapist and 34-times convicted criminal.
