Not complicated: Per the Constitution, states administer all elections. It is a state's right to determine who is eligible to be on the state's ballot.

@WakeUpAmerican000s No, I am not saying that. I SAID: according to the US Constitution, STATES administer all elections. There are basics in the Constitution concerning eligibility for office -- 14th Amendment, S. 3 is one of them. Try WAKING UP: every state has ELECTIONS LAWS, which include criteria of eligibility, and ineligibility. The state can't ignore its own elections laws.

Bush v. Gore was/is unconstitutional: the Constitution clearly places responsibility for resolving election disputes in CONGRESS.

@rensinclair4218 Yes -- and that resolution is to be made by CONGRESS -- not by the unelected judiciary. In addition, the Justices voted TWICE in that election. Voting twice in an election is ILLEGAL. There was no clear winner in the 2000 election. Bush's lead was rapidly shrinking -- then Justice Scalia jumped in and interrupted that process.

@rensinclair4218 In 2000 there was no clear winner at the point at which Bush's tiny lead was decreasing and Justice Scalia quickly intervened and stopped the process. The SC had no legitimate role in the election. In addition, it is illegal to vote twice in the same election -- and the SC Justices voted twice in that election.
