  1. The right-wing Supreme Court has been turning the 14th Amendment -- to which they are hostile -- on its head since Bush v. Gore when in that decision they held that the candidate, Bush, would be "harmed" if he were allowed to lose the election by allowing all votes to be counted. So Bush had rights that the were more important that that of the voters.
