  2. "Winston Smith" is the main character in the novel 1984. The internet troll who uses that name is a MAGA/Trump anti-American troll. In contrary fact, Springfield had a shrinking population, so there were job openings and no one to fill them. The Federal and Ohio gov'ts invited the Haitians, and they have filled the jobs, which has helped the city's economy. The smears against them are entirely about race. These Haitians are LEGAL immigrants who were looking for jobs and who work hard and pay taxes. "Winston Smith" -- the troll -- is a racist hater.

  3.  @jockyoung4491  I don't know if the couch story is true or false -- and Vance's word can't be trusted, so whatever he says about it is not dispositive. Nor do I know if it's true or false that he has a dark history with three-legged stools. But where there's smoke -- where there are two rumors instead of one, the more likely at least one of the rumors is true. At any rate, I believe in the Golden Rule: so I believe that those who mock others are asking that they be mocked. It is therefore only polite and respectful to mock mockers.

  4. Trump and Vance are domestic terrorists. And Trump is talking about visiting Springfield, Ohio -- to, obviously, increase the potential for violence. Trump isn't trying to win or lose; he's intent on inciting violence in multiple locations. But that he can't win.
