  3. It isn't limited to ethics: the 14th Amendment cites ENGAGING IN insurrection. Alito didn't have to be attacking the Capital to engage in aiding and abetting the insurrection. Several of those convicted of sedition were outside the Capital during the attack. And they had weapons arsenals at the ready.
