@beecnul8r Michael Steele is still a Republican. He did not quit the party. But behind his politics he's a good and decent man, and has an intimate connection with the history of slavery, so won't put racist politics above the country. Troy is another whose politics I reject, but who also puts country over party -- and she was one of the very first to do so publicly.
