The only time this SC applies the 14th Amendment is when it turns it on its head, as it did in 2000; instead of protecting the electorate, primarily Black voters, they used it to protect the white REPUBLICAN candidate. Imagine a losing candidate being protected from the electorate voting against him. And in unconstitutionally intervening, usurping an authority exclusive to Congress, they went further an voted twice in the same election, which is illegal. Scalia was a fraud -- a "textualist" who lied about the intent of the Constitution as to which branch has the authority to resolve election disputes, and who with his colleagues lied about the intent of the Amendment.
