@brooklynnchick IN LAW the term "weapon" covers many objects other than guns and knives. The January 6th insurrectionists used flag poles as weapons, and succeeded in inflicting severe injuries with them. If you "grew up around the Freemen" crackpots then you missed an opportunity to learn some basic law -- not from them -- they were the typical law-illiterates who knew better than their actual betters -- but from the responses to them. Review the video of their actions at Charlottesville. And the man who drove his car into the crowd, killing a woman and injuring many others, was a member of "Patriot Front".

The "Minute Men" were a subset of the Massachusetts-Bay Colony's/State's well-regulated Militia. The Militia was and is an arm of gov't, it's purpose being law enforcement. And their commander-in-chief is the chief law enforcement officer the colony's/state's GOVERNOR. The Founders "attacked" and "overthrew" exactly this many gov'ts: ZERO. Because all the colony/state gov'ts were all along under the control of the FOUNDERS. And because the well-regulated Militia was always UNDER the rule of law -- the gov't being by definition RULE OF LAW -- and governed and regulated under the governor and legislature. It's even in the "Declaration of Independence," among the GRIEVANCES therein which applied exclusively to King George II of ENGLAND: "He [King George II] has kept among us, in Times of Peace, Standing Armies, without the consent of our Legislatures." "He [King George III] has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power." The "Civil Power" is the gov't -- the gov't being by definition RULE OF LAW. Last but not least: gadfly Jefferson notwithstanding, the Founders were not ANTI-gov't: they ESTABLISHED gov'ts because they were PRO-rule of law and PRO-gov't.

@chuckydall9250 The truck was also being tracked by on-the-ground cop cars. They ran the plate and then pulled the truck over. I'd ask you to use your head, but you are (1) working with insufficient knowledge, or (2) being selective in which "facts" you endorse, and which to treat as jokes. You're a destructive jerk and your own worst enemy: when the Nazis destroyed legal protections of RIGHTS in Germany, they destroyed them for EVERYONE including their SUPPORTERS. In issuing the ticket they got the name and other identifying information on the individual ticketed. 3. That identifying information -- on all three individuals-- is entered into a database that can be accessed by law enforcement nationwide. Law enforcement isn't as stupid as you.

If they were to succeed in their aims, they would be among the first victims of it: Hitler established the "Brown Shirt" street gangs, which committed gang violence (see also "Proud Boys") against targeted civilians.
