@chaosopher23 Certainly you mean the Republican Senators who visited Moscow on July 4th, the day celebrating US independence.

@TimeSurfer206 Joe McCarthy: Holding up a piece of paper he said, "I have here a list of names of Communists" -- the paper was BLANK.

The flaw is not in the Constitution. It is in an electorate that puts politics above the rule of law: "Justice and the Rule of Law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams.

@chaosopher23 Learn to distinguish between fact and disinformation; between truth and bullshit. Then you'll get clarity, by seeing through the bullshit, to the positions of those behind it. FOX, as example, pushes fictions -- "alternative 'facts'" -- in order to substitute those for reality. Timothy Snyder explains how those things work. As example FOX pretends to be moral, "argues" about morality all the time, while in fact thy are moral relativists engaged in a constant attack on non-relative facts and reality. On reason itself. Without reason there is no morality.

@MonicaSĪGÑofJõñãhYUNIS I grew up during that era. It was not a conspiracy. But we can think the money-greedy for making up all sorts of "conspiracies" to enrich themselves.

CLARENCE THOMAS has ALWAYS ALSO been an extremist. He benefited from Affirmative Action -- and has consistently voted AGAINST anyone else benefiting from it.

@srgreeniii If the Founders had want to LIMIT the VOTERS' choices, they would have established term limits. They did not. If you want amateurs instead of the experienced making gov't decisions, then put in those who are as stupid as the general voter. We have examples of the latter with Greene and Boebert.

That pretense to wisdom is foolish. Wisdom isn't the norm.

@theinvisiblewoman5709 You know nothing of the actual history as to who was and wasn't criminal. But the only cure for your simplistic view is education.
1
@brenatevi For Republicans who are doing it while accusing Democrats of doing. Those who fall for that tactic come up with the false assertion that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats. In fact, per the Constitution, "We the people" are the gov't. Ego, the gov't exists to meet the needs of "We the people," paid for (taxes) and determined by "We the people". Look at the Biden administration's effort to meet the needs of "We the people" while the Republicans obstruct that effort. Republicans and Democrats areobviously NOT the same.

@420JackG You benefit from the infrastructure bill. But you're so stupid you stab yourself in the back. If Trump were president he'd be provided money and weapons to Putin. Wake up: which side are you on -- Putin's, or your birthright?
1
@420JackG That's because they are attacking reality; their "alternative reality" is NOT reality, it is FICTION. That's been effectuated by turning hard news into infotainment. Which many US citizens bought into and buy into: if it isn't sensational it is "boring". They are like children addicted to constantly being entertained -- away from reasonand reality.

@TimeSurfer206 You posit the opposite extreme "conspiracy": that no one is in charge. No: those who buy into the conspirabunk HATE the educated, and in spite they falsely believe they are adopting a "truer" intellectuality. They are anti-education, anti-intellectual, anti FACT. It's a childish sucking of thumb, "rebellious" shitting of their diapers -- a "So THERE! blah-blah-blah." That they willingly stink up their own reality is falsely believed to adversely affect those they view as adversaries.
1
@TimeSurfer206 I have no idea what that is intended to mean.
1
@MonicaSĪGÑofJõñãhYUNIS The CONSPIRACIES!

Ginni Thomas didn't "become" radicalized. She's always been an extremist fruit-fringe religionut.
1
@ChrispyNut In various jurisdictions judges must regularly run for election. Depending on the politics fed to the voters, they are more or less "touch on crime," even when that is the wrong approach, in order to establish a record for the next election. Neither method is perfect, but lifetime appointment is less toxic.
1
@Honorbound43 I fail to see how any one of those sentences has relation to any of the others.

The January 6 should subpoena Ginni and Clarence Thomas's phone records.
