@marcusowen7944 At minimum Obama restored decency to the office. And unlike every Democratic president from Truman on succeeded in establishing health care as a national initiative. Cornell West went off the rails with Sanders and helped elect Trump.

If they are consistently heard and consistently rejected -- this is the THIRD election she's lost -- then they consistently lose.

Her commitment is to be a loud-mouthed ego. I HATE being yelled at by politicians who want my vote.

@dennisduncan7561 Nope. I've been politically aware for more than 70 years. Sanders began his 2016 campaign by promising to destroy the DEMOCRATIC -- NOT REPUBLICAN -- Party. Which party was and is the THREAT? And after being allowed to run as a Democrat -- on DEMPCRATIC PARTY FUNDING -- he continued to trash the DEMOCRATIC Party, and to smear Clinton with RIGHT-wing LIES. He even attacked Democratic "centrists" as "corrupt" thus ALIENATING them from HIM. That's why he LOST the election TWICE: he was attacking the voters he needed to win. The 1960's "New Left got NIXON elected by doing the same stupid shit. And Sanders helped elect TRUMP by doing the same stupid shit. Which INCLUDED his standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Trump with his own serial lying about releasing his tax returns. Note that by contrast Clinton released 30 YEARS of her tax returns on the day she announced her candidacy. For one I don't like being YELLED AT by political candidates, especially when they claim power they DON'T have BECAUSE THEY LOST FOR THE THIRD TIME. Attacking those who CAN get elected in order to boost those WHO CANNOT is how to L-O-S-E. Then, of course, instead of taking responsibility for that SELF-DEFEATING behavior, you blame everyone but yourself for the PREDICTABLE RESULT.

She LOST the election, so her talk doesn't mean anything.

@impressiveprogressive7343 Exactly how is this unelected screamer going to do as she insists while not being elected? You "progressives" give progressives a bad name. If you don't get your way you throw a tantrum and either don't vote or throw you're vote away -- and then blame everyone else for the result.

@sharper68 But not YOURS? Always the loud mouths while others do the actual work.

@sharper68 I watched "progressive' Sanders help elect Trump. And I saw his politically-illiterate supporters IGNORE the fact that electing the first woman president would have been PROGRESSIVE. And saw some of Sanders' politically-illiterate supporters vote for Trump. And still you political-illiterates fall for hot rhetoric instead of adhering to reality: she can make all the pie-in-the-sky assertions she wants, but she is NOT ELECTED so does not have the power she seems to actually believe she does. While democracy is under direct attack you hang your fantasies on an ineffective fringe.
1
@sharper68 We get your "position": ALL or NOTHING. And then when you get NOTHING, because you refuse to COMPROMISE, it's everyone else's fault. The legislative process is DEMOCRATIC: discussion, debate, COMPROMISE, and consensus. You're no different than the extremist right-wing "Tea Party"/"Freedom Caucus": NEVER COMPROMISE. That's how Sanders helped elect Trump.

@cybergothika6906 Flexibility is necessary to compromise, compromise necessary to achieve one's goals. The only alternative is violence -- like we saw on January 6.
1
@Almost-Nothing Biden got elected. Sanders not only lost twice but the first time around he helped elect Trump -- the "progressive fascist". Exactly as the "New Left" of the 1960s got Nixon elected.
1
@Almost-Nothing I agree: it's all or nothing -- and then when it is NOTHING instead of ALL, you blame everyone but your ineffective pie-in-the-sky approach.

@GDino34 Tell us, punk, how Bernie would have given us "Medicare for All" when the CONGRESS refused to do so? Sanders stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Trump with his own serial lying about releasing his tax returns. From the outset Sanders threatened to destroy the Democratic -- NOT REPUBLICAN -- Party. Which of those two attempted to overthrow the gov't? Sanders smeared the Democratic center -- the largest voting block -- as "corrupt". And you thought that would persuade the center to vote for Sanders!? One DOES NOT win voters by INSULTING them. The vast majority of voters are centrists. You are FRINGE, NOT "progressive," because genuine PROGRESSIVES would have elected the first WOMAN president. Your "theory of the case" gave us January 6.

Tell us: Would an Elizabeth Warren win in West Virginia?

@walexander8378 The problem is that her view is very narrow, and her supporters are political novices. Someone has fed them the fantasy that politics is all-or-nothing: they want it all at once, which is why they end up with nothing. In contrast, the democratic process is incremental. But they'd rather get nothing, then blame everyone else for their failure.
