Clue: as "revolution" is "overturning gov't," and as the Founders all along controlled the colony gov'ts, it was not a "revolution"; it was a civil war that divided families. More specifically: the Founders "overthrew" ZERO gov'ts. And in the LAWS of the time it was referred to as "war for American independence," NOT "revolution". Last but not least, ALSO per the Founders, "taking up arms" against the gov't is TREASON.
