  2.  @doctorwhy8781  Corporations DON'T fund Social Security. This is how it works: A FICA/payroll tax is deducted from your paycheck. That tax funds Social Security. When you are eligible to receive Social Security, you receive money from Social Security. AGAIN: Social Security is a STAND-ALONE fund -- it is not connected to and has no relation to the general fund and the deficit.

  3.  @doctorwhy8781  It's the full story. Social Security has no connection to the general budget -- and therefore nothing to do with the deficit. But the Republicans -- who your are lying for -- claim that the cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are necessary to reduce the deficit. The Republicans have been opposed to the EXISTENCE of Social Security since BEFORE it was established in law because they don't want an alternative to profiting from working the elderly to death.
