  1. The Republicans Party, since at latest Reagan, have been attacking universities. Most of them have never been to universities so know nothing about university education or universities. University education is not glorified K-12 -- it is where one becomes an ADULT, if one isn't one already. It is where one overcomes being the only person who matters. It is where one discovers, if one hadn't already, that the United States is not the only country in the world. Where one discovers that there is more than one way to see the world, and almost all of those different ways have their merits. What got to Boebert was when a student asked her, Are you a student here?" "GED" Boebert then realized that she was dealing with people who KNOW stuff.
