She travelled from work to the school, rescued her children, then immediately returned to work. An AMAZING mother.

And the police has arranged for three "biker" gangs to intimidate the media in order to protect Abbott's cover-up.

@Wesley Peterson Why do you assume she isn't a citizen?

@Wesley Peterson She may be both a seasonal worker and legal. He English is very good. A good person to know -- so long as oneself isn't lazy.

@bjornstahle4652 It wasn't a "nutjob" who came up with the slogan; it was a young activist with a just case who rushed into something that seemed "clever" and intended to get attention. I recognized immediately that it was stupid -- that it was not something that most would understand. When explained, yes, it made sense. And I wasn't surprised that it backfired, though I'd been hoping it wouldn't. During the 1960s I witnessed the leaders of movements make egregious mistakes -- though they then and later didn't admit it, if they even recognized it. One must learn to think ahead of the possible consequences of one's words and actions to avoid playing into the opposition's intents.

@JuanRodriguez-fg4ji I'm aware of that. That's the basis of my question to that person.

@Wesley Peterson It is also the fact that Uvalde is an "ancient" city with upwards of 80 per cent Mexican-Americans who were born and have lived there for generations.

@Trepang 412 He's correct.

SOME do.

One of the Uvalde police officers lost a child in the school. The man who stood up and yelled at Beto is the REPUBLICAN mayor of Uvalde.

Agreed: it is a stupid slogan.

Custer was an arrogant funk-up.
