  5. At the beginning of "Watergate" Nixon's approval was in the 70s. When he resigned it was less than 20 per cent. That was because there were fewer national media, and the voters were paying attention. And, of course, shows that the Senate and House "Watergate" hearings made the difference. The January 6th Committee hearings made a huge difference, but there weren't during "Watergate" all the extremist and nut-bag ankle-biters making stupid noise and creating chaos.
