@bmphil3400 Obviously if one doesn't know anything about education one wants it abolished. The Federal dept. of Education provides, at the least, FUNDING to public schools in the states. Unfortunately, because of Republican biases, some funding is provided to "religious" schools in violation of the First Amendment separation of "religion" and gov't.
