@jrwoods5311 The gov't isn't a business -- isn't that what you said? And now you are comparing "private business" with gov't.
As is typical of you right-wingers, you don't make sense.
Nor do you provide any evidence for your assertion that "the system is failing". AND you keep ignoring THIS FACT:
"Per the Constitution, "We the people" are the gov't. So where, pray tell, should we place the responsibility for the alleged failure -- on those elected? Or on those who elect them?
Your head is up someone's ass -- perhaps your own -- because you don't understand these most basic facts:
1. Our democracy -- MAJORITY rule -- is based upon the rule of law.
2. Every right is inextricably entwined with RESPONSIBILITY.
3. Democracy is not a spectator sport. It is the DUTY of citizens to participate by VOTING, or even running for office. Instead as percentage of the electorate is corrupted into not voting, or into bashing the gov't -- which is "We the people".
I'd ask that you learn the basics, and learn how not to contradict yourself, but it's obvious you already know0it-all -- everything is the fault of the gov't, but not of "We the people"/the gov't.
The first obligation of gov't is to protect public health and safety, including AGAINST private businesses that endanger public health and safety. But all you consider is money. What a shabbily poor -- and confused -- existence you live.
