Being ignorant of actual history, Mr. Racist, is tanatamount to boasting of your ignorance, which is the basis for your racism. More about John Adams: He was the foremost constitutionalist among the Founders. He authored the Massachusetts constitution, which was the model for the US Constitution. In fact, he opposed striking opposition to slavery from the draft "Declaration," which Franklin defendded doing -- to him the first concern was independence -- even though Franklin had establish the first anti-slavery organization in the Americas. Yes, the "pro-democracy/freedom" Jefferson owned slaves, which he only "freed" after his death with his will. And he fathered illegitimate children with one of his slaves. If you want to talk about the salve-owning Founders, then talk about those who actually owned slaves, some of whom -- including Jefferson -- were hypocrites.

"He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power." Nor have you bothered to READ the Constitution, ALL of which is in effect at the same time, NOT ONLY the "Bill of Rights. Relevant provisions in the Constitution: "Art. I., S. 8., C. 15. That's why we have the First Amendment, which includes, as examples, separation of "religion" and gov't, and the right to PEACEABLY assemble, which stricture accommodates -- "Art. I., S. 8., C. 15. The CONGRESS shall have Power To provide for calling forth the Militia[/National Guard] to execute [ENFORCE] the Laws of the Union, [and] SUPPRESS INSURRECTIONS". That includes enforcing the Constitution, and the statutes by means of which its provisions are implemented.

And what do you think the Afghan Taliban's position is on women's rights and abortion?
