  2.  @1Storm6  This is a civil action. If Democrat Clinton could be sued civilly -- as the SC held could be done -- by a single litigant, then why would a president be exempt from criminal charge and prosecution, when the principle is to protect the general public?

  3. The central issue here is subpenas of records which are in the possession of their owners -- Mazur and Deutsche Bank. Except that Trump "owns" the contents of those records, he is beside the point. Mazur and Deutsche Bank were originally willing to provide the records; it is only Trump's intervention that stopped them. Any other citizen in Trump's position would have by now been ordered by the courts to pound sand. In any event, the SC will rpobably have to time release of their ruling for a moment when Kavanagh isn't falling-down drunk.
