The cover-up continues. Texas gov't is not defending gun rights; they are defending mass murder. And I suspect that the DPS officer who said it was a wrong decision to not go in has doubtless been ordered to shut up.

@Martin Stepanek There IS legitimate reason to protect the integrity of ongoing investigations by not going into detail about them. But with a population with little respect for rules or privacy -- look at the sad case of Depp and Heard, with numerous youtube VAMPIRES picking over every last detail of their private lives. The same VAMPIRES who are so judgmental of others' ethics and morality . . . As those points apply to this situation, it is also obvious the "powers that be" -- politicians and politicized police -- don't care about the families of the murdered children either. They don't care about ALL those in the community who are "beneath" them.

The man who stood up at the Abbott press conference and yelled at Beto is the Republican mayor of Uvalde. So it isn't only the police who are covering-up. I wonder how many of them have investments in the gun industry.
