Meadows and Scavino are either cooperating, or they are being investigated for greater legal exposure.

The gallows on the Capitol grounds was not "spontaneous".

@rhensontollhouse I've not said otherwise. I SAID that Meadows and Scavino, who were subpoenaed by the January 6 Committee, refused to fully cooperate. That they have not been indicted by DOJ perhaps because they are cooperating, or perhaps because they are being investigated for greater crimes. I've said nothing about pardons.

In which category did Carlin place HIMSELF?

@mooo8293 Investigators don't focus on a single individual or two. They follow other investigative paths so are able to corroborate testimonies or prove them false.

@antonystringfellow5152 He was the president's chief of staff so would have had executive privilege along with the president. But none of the criminal conspiracy is legitimate presidential action so is not subject to privilege. It is little different than the lawyer-client privilege which lies with the CLIENT, both because it is the CLIENT'S matters that are being protected, AND to protect the CLIENT from abuses by the lawyer. NEITHER privilege protects criminal activities.

@pamelawing5747 Scavino monitored a website on which the insurrectionists were openly plotting violence. And Scavino was working directly with Trump on that. I would assume that the DOJ has copy of the website, and evidence of the cooperation between Trump and Scavino.

@cjmacq-vg8um The PROBLEM is that for DECADES the Republicans have jabbered incessantly about "freedom" and "rights" and "small gov't" (gov't is RULE OF LAW) while being totally silent about REPSONSIBILITY. And the ultimate RESPONSIBILITY REMAINS with "We the people". But "We the people" get "our" jollies by wallowing in politics and viewing everything as just another form of entertainment. Look how "we" crawled all over the Petito-Laundrie case -- murder as entertainment. And all over the Depp-Heard trial: other's misery as entertainment. The corrective: "Justice and the Rule of Law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams.

@rhensontollhouse If they had pardons they needn't cooperate.
