  1. Alito is a crackpot. In his view there are TWO lives involved, but to him the fetus is more important than the life of the woman. That view makes no sense: if the woman dies, so does the fetus. If the fetus is not viable, Alito would let the woman die by giving supremacy to the non-viable fetus.

  2. Alito rejects the First Amendment separation of "religion" and gov't. And that our system of laws is based on a BALANCING of interests. If it is necessary to protect the health and life of the woman, so she can get pregnant again, then abortion is necessary.
