The "bond" issue is not yet resolved because (1) the source of the "bond" isn't licensed in New York state to provide bonds, and (2) the source of the "bond" has a history of scamming, and being prosecuted and fined for it. One could say it doesn't surprise that Trump would deal with the shady. The scammer said in one interview that he was originally willing to provide the full amount of the "bond". And: Trump's lawyers were required to update the court on having found a source for the "bond"; instead they didn't and then the appellate court, unaware of that fact, reduced the amount of the bond.
