@Phenomental1ty And he's never been near the inside of a miliary uniform. He's as tough a macho manly-man as Reagan and Trump.

@daryl9053 The million was the advance. He keeps it even if the book doesn't sell.

It isn't the system; it's the corrupt individuals in the system. "A system of Laws, and not of men." -- John Adams. "Justice and the Rule of Law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams.

@cyndybutler7330 The Impeachment Clause refutes Trump's claim.

@jshricks We get it: if you need brain surgery you'll avoid the elite brain surgeon for the doings of your local plumber. No need for "elites" who actually know stuff.
2
@wadehawkins872 Have you EVIDENCE to back that up? Or are you another who uses the excuse that the gov't is corrupt and out of control as excuse to not vote in effort to prove your first excuse true? Can you do straight logic, or is everything a closed circularity to you?

@garaf1246 "THE system is only for the powerful and rich that can afford it." And you think slavery established a vanished equality? And that having to own property in order to vote applied to the majority? The issue is law and principle, and holding fast and asserting that in real-time -- not interminable "'tis-tisn't" political name-calling.

@rogerbrownreacts8528 The only difference between the two parties: Democrats: Infrastructure bill. Republicans: talk. Democrats: expansion of health care. Republicans: talk. Democrats: supporting defense of democracy by an ally. Republicans: supporting illegal invasion of ally. Etc. It is not a "uniparty," politically ignorant jackass. It's your view that militates against "bothering" to vote, and therefore capitulates to the very powerful forces you ineffectually and fecklessly rail against from your fake "superiority" over crucial mundanities with which you are too pure to engage.

Bolton could have volunteered to testify in the Trump impeachment, and guaranteed that Trump be barred from holding office. But he refused unless subpoenaed, because such a "patriot" who would do anything for his country, while getting a million dollar advance for stating those facts in his book. Bolton is just another grifter.

If they rule as Trump wants, President Biden should immediately have Trump arrested.
1
@jshricks It isn't only the elite -- you don't understand the need for elites, so you'd settle for brain surgery performed by a plumber -- who listens to and believes this grifter. A whole lot of non-elitists fell for Reagan.
1
He had a choice: either hold out for a subpoena to testify at the impeachment trial, or get a million dollar advance for stating those facts in a book published after the trial was over. Just another macho manly-man-talking right-wing grifter. This is the guy who advocated for the US withdrawing from the United Nations -- which the United States founded -- and NATO -- which the United States founded. Putin advocates for the same thing.

@Baka_Komuso Many of us have been ailing Bolton since Reagan picked him out of the dung heap to do his extremist swearing for him.
1
He didn't just write a book -- he got a million dollars for doing so. His "patriotism" is for-profit.

@wadehawkins872 Many, not "MOST". Stop believing those you believe are corrupt when they engage in smearing others as corrupt. Or be exactly like them -- not interested in actual fact and truth.

@wadehawkins872 I became politically aware and active in at circa 9 years old. I am now 76, child. Your "40 years" begins in bias. Clue: the Founders were the OPPOSITE of anti-gov't. You reject the system, which you don't understand in structure and functioning, based on a sense of superiority that is phony. The bottom line is that you reject compromise, which is the essence of the democratic process, which you view as "corruption". You're a purist without a clue.
