  5. Trump's effort all along has been to ignore the pandemic. That allowed it to get out of control, so he has had to admit it exists. But he has all along been atempting to minimize it, up to and including his current effort to impose the fantasy that it is "behind" us. In reality, we are at the BEGINNING of this thing; and it will be with use for at least two years.
