It isn't about Trump -- or any of the witnesses -- characters; it is about Trump's ACTIONS. But humans are affected by the expressions -- and actions -- of fellow humans. To cry -- and from all descriptions it was sudden and spontaneous, not an act -- in public is to be utterly vulnerable. Hicks has been trying to continue to believe her illusion that Trump is a "nice guy," but she's been struggling with that, and she realized that she had admitted -- and heard herself actually say -- truths that refute the illusion. She is realizing that he betrayed her trust, as he has always done with everyone.

On the other hand, Trump lied to and used her to advance his criminal corruption. She cried because she began to face that truth. She realized when she heard herself tell the truth about his assumption that she was as corrupt as he is. Because he assumes everyone is corrupt.

Gee, she's beginning to confront the emotional truth of how she was used by Trump to advance his criminal corruption.

@jaobidan2358 Nope. Hicks suddenly realized that she'd been lied to and used -- her trust betrayed -- by Trump. Honest expression is testifying in keeping with the oath to tell the truth, and the whole truth. But we get it: you don't trust emotion -- at least that of others -- because you view your use of your emotions as manipulative.

@frankcarone6 Another Trumper/law-illiterate pops off repeating what other Trumpers say.

@jaobidan2358 Falsifying the business records is the underlying crime -- which you omit. Business expenses are a tax write-off; falsified business records are not. The falsification was to pretend that Cohen wasn't the passthrough paying off the porn star. Following the "Hollywood Access" tape, that revelation would be even more devastating. And McDougal was shopping her affair with Trump around. If that came out, in addition to the tape and porn star, it would certainly have been the end of the Trump campaign. Pecker also testified that it was all about protecting the campaign, and he detailed how that was done. The entire scheme was intended to be election interference. The problem with you dishonest Trumpers is that you always omit several of the facts. But let's look at REALITY, and how LAW works, in place of your dumb rejections of it: The DOCUMENTATION used to PROVE the MASSIVE FRAUD in the BUSINESS FRAUD trial was GENERATED BY TRUMP'S BUSINESS and OBTAINED FROM TRUMP'S BUSINESS. Got that? The FRAUD was committed BY TRUMP AND HIS ORGANIZATION -- not by anyone else. And as New York is the center of economic business in the United States, exactly the same sorts of business fraud is prosecuted ALL THE TIME. TRUMP is only "unique" in that he is both a celebrity AND A CONSTANT LIAR; that is why you have your girlie panties in a twist: you see the world as ENTERTAINMENT; you don't know how NOT to view everything as silly. Trump "loves" the uneducated because you are so easy to bullshit -- and to separate from your MONEY.

@jaobidan2358 So Hicks substantiated that Trump's motive was to interfere with the election in order to emotionally manipulated the jury to vote guilty? Do you Trumper's ever consider that making sense matters?
1
Nope: she realized she was USED while she naively trusted him. Hearing her say the truth began her facing that she was hoodwinked, sucker, bullshitting about what a "nice guy" he is. That what happens when one starry-eyed worships celebrity.

@rachelehosten1323 No -- she heard herself say out loud the truth and realized that she had been lied to and used by Trump for his own corrupt ends. And she realized that he assumed that she was as corrupt as he -- his central excuse is that everyone is corrupt, and therefore he is justified in being corrupt. She realized that he did in fact have sexual relationships with McDougal and Daniels -- but had lied even to her about it.

james-rd4dq She isn't aware enough to be afraid of Trump supporters. She was realizing that Trump had exploited her trust.
