@elizabethstanley7137 The defense had no defense, and Trump ran the defense, so he lost for the fourth or fifth straight time. the prosecution got it right -- it was a DOCUEMNTS case, and the documents were generated by and obtained from the Trump criminal enterprise. The jury got it 100 per cent correct 34 times. those who insist otherwise are law-illiterate anti-Americans duped by a corrupt celebrity who has also been adjudicated by a jury of his peers as being a RAPIST. It is SICK to defend RAPE.

@gettingannoyedquick Same here. The evolving intent to overthrow the gov't should have been nipped in the bud by prosecuting Nixon. This forgiveness of criminals because of who they are is destructive. Marchan should call Trump's bluff: prepare for violence, put his ass in jail, and let him appeal the case while occupying a cell at Riker's. And if violence occurs, meet it with proportional violent enforcement of the rule of law. Note that many MAGA saw what happened: Trump pit hundreds of them in jail, had between January 7th and 21st to pardon them, but instead played golf. So they have an inkling of the fact that Trump couldn't are less about his followers. So none, except for the hardest of stupid, didn't show in response to his many efforts to get them to come out and protest. Nixon picked up where Joe McCarthy left off; Reagan made it worse with his seditious rejection of the gov't/"We the people" as the "problem. And then Scalia assisted Cheney/Bushit to steal the 2000 election. Now they are right out front with their intents publicly.
