NO: there was an empty space in front of the stage, and he wanted to brag about the size of the crowd. That's why he wanted the armed thugs, who wouldn't go through the metal detectors, to "come in" and fill that area. When he was told those thugs were armed, he ordered the metal detectors removed.

@auntiez4917 Yes -- but if you see the photo, which was shown, there is an empty space in front of the stage. He wanted that filled -- we already know he brags about the size of his crowds, which is hard to do when there's a big empty space in the middle of it.

Within days after the insurrection, Capitol Police radio chatter was released in which they were speaking of disarming Trumpeters, and that there were more weapons than they could handle. In addition, in footage of the shooting of violent insurrectionist Babbitt there was a man standing against the wall to her right and slightly behind with an assault rifle. But the central problem you have with that LIE is that the persons who told Trump they were armed, and the kind of weapons, were loyal Trump ass-kissers. And Hutchinson worked for Ted Cruz and Scalise before she got the job at the White House. She is a Trumpeter, though she may be young enough to still be able to reassess her options, and whether to continue to support a known career criminal.
