  5. Trump freaked out because confronted with his greatest fear: being ABANDONED. So the governors called his bluff, and said, "Okay, fuck him. Let's do it without him." So desperately grasping for relevance, he DEMANDED ATTENTION by going way over the top by claiming that he has "total" authority. He wants the power, but not the responsibility. He wants the credit, but not the blame. He has made himself irrelevant -- trapped himself in his own bullshit, his own contradictions, his own incoherence.
