But let's cut to the chase: the H-O-N-E-S-T way to respond to the witnesses would be for TRUMP to take the witness stand -- he might if it were plated with fool's gold -- and testify UNDER OATH. He said affirmatively that he will testify. But when he doesn't, will you finally admit that he's a LIAR? And he WILL NOT testify -- instead he had his lawyers file a motion for an "amendment" to the gag order -- intended to get around it -- to allow him to attack witnesses. ANYTHING but testify UNDER OATH because Trump's ONLY counter to the witnesses who testified under oath, and the DOCUMENTS generated by and obtained from TRUMP'S CRIMINAL ENTRPRISE, is to LIE. And he would be exposed for PERJURY on cross-examination. That's why he bloviates OUTSIDE the court about how "they" are not allowing him to bloviate while he is standing there bloviating -- because he CAN'T testify UNDER OATH WITHOUT lying. But we've heard all his lies before, and he continues to say the same lies during his incoherent bloviations. And what are his lies mostly about? -- the Republican tradition of SMEAR politics. In contrast: "Justice and the Rule of Law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams. Trump consistently LOSES in court because he DEMANDS that his lawyers present his always and only POLITICS in place of actual legal argument. Because he deludes himself that he is a better lawyer than any lawyers. His idea of a lawyer is a corrupt bully like Roy Cohn; Michael Cohen was that for him for 10 years. New York Mafia lawyer Roy Cohn was eventually indicted, prosecuted, convicted, and disbarred. In New York. The LESSON: "Justice and the Rule of Law are to be ABOVE politics." -- John Adams. But Trump has always rejected ALL rules, ALWAYS rejected the rule of law. That is why in a court of law he has no LEGAL leg to stand on.

The DA and prosecutors are legal scholars -- experts on business fraud cases, of which they prosecute at least hundreds per year. Trump is whining that he's "special" --- that he is the only one ever tried for that crime. And his supporters are so uneducated that they believe him.

  6.  @davidwallace8388  And "conflicted" -- which is to remind everyone that he is attacking the judge's daughter, who has nothing to do with any of this. IN FACT, Judge Merchan took the issue to the ethics panel in the court system and asked for their view on the alleged "conflict". They found no conflict. Trump's whole effort is to bully and intimidate. It's surprising that he's been adjudicated for rape only ONCE.
