The Republicans don't understand that taxation is the means by which "We the people" pay our own way, by funding the gov't, which exists to meet the needs of "We the people". That's why presidents are to SERVE "We the people" NOT be our 'boss". To MAGA: the president is the head of a branch separate from Congress. He has no jurisdiction over Congress -- or over the transfer of power from the losing president to the winning president. See "separation of powers".
