@YG-zx6tv I live in Austria, which is the easternmost part of the West. I'm definitely not for the West owning the East, but I'm also not for China and Saudi Arabia owning (as they do to the tune of billions of dollars) the US. Yes, Trump is a clown and is going down. But China is pretty scary now too: they seek to have 24 hour surveillance of all their citizens. Besides flooding the world with cheap disposable goods that end up in the Pacific killing the fish. Also not really good.

Yes, the West is corrupt. But so is the East. Never been to Bulgaria, but I've seen the results of state socialism in Hungary, East Germany, Romania. Not pretty.

@YG-zx6tv Yes, things are better without drunken Russians. And of course the EU and the US are far from perfect. But so is China. I'm all for local solutions and government as far as is possible. But the EU and other larger entities such as the UN can be a powerful force against war between nations. A balance must be sought.

@YG-zx6tv I'm from North America, but haven't lived there for many years. China is better in some respects that the West and worse in others.

@YG-zx6tv Hmmm, where are you? Austria, for all its faults, is not trying to do what Germany is doing. How could they, with only about eight million population? And no, not even Germany is trying to get German to be the most common language. Where do you get this stuff? And Austria allying with the Muslims against Israel? Also not happening.

@YG-zx6tv I'd love to visit Bulgaria someday. I'm a musician and I've been greatly inspired by Bulgarian music. I, too, am critical of big money and its influence on us. Drop me a line if you're ever in Vienna. Lunch is on me.
